The Sash Paint Brush has a round brush head shape ideal for precision painting.  Traditionally, brushes were constructed with a round brush head rather than the flat brush shape commonly seen today.
The production method is quite different than the flat brush head because the ferrules are placed above a domed mold and the filaments are dropped into them. The rounded shape of the mold ensures a perfect semi spherical shape to the brush head. Because of this, it isn’t necessary to trim the brush head before flagging and this perfection ensures very precise painting.
The main markets for this type of brush have always been France and Germany where professional painters and decorators will use these as opposed to flat brushes. By twisting the brush in a downward circular motion, a very straight line can be painted which then avoids the need to use masking tape, saving a lot of time and also money. This makes this brush ideal for painting window trim and straight lines.
The handles are made with sustainable hard wood birch which has been weathered and then kiln dried in our ovens to reduce humidity and stabilize the wood. These handles will not warp or bend.
This brush can be used for indoor and outdoor painting and can be used with all paints.
